Take an e-rickshaw or magic car from the outer premises of Namkhana railway station to reach Hujjuter Ghat or Durgapur Ghat. You can cross the river Chinai from there and from the other side of the that’s you can take another rickshaw to reach Mousuni Island tourist spot. You can reach Mousuni Island from Sealdah railway station within 6-7 hours.
One can take a bus from Dharmatala, Kolkata to reach Namkhana and get a rickshaw from there to reach Hujjuter ghat or Durgapur that or Bagdanga ghat. Cross the river Chinai from there and take another e-rickshaw to reach Mousuni Island tourist spot.
Mousuni Island by Bike
One can take their bike also which they have to cross the river Chinai by boat from Hujjuter Ghat or Durgapur ghat. They should take the route to reach Bakkhali from Kolkata via diamond harbour. Once after crossing the bridge over river Hatania Doania, they have to reach Hujjuter Ghat. Here they have to cross the river Chinai along with the bike. At the opposite bank, they will get street to reach the Mousuni Island tourist spot.

There is no separate itinerary available in Mousuni Island and one will get their food from the camp only. These camps provide their guests with tasty and healthy meals 4 times which can be both veg and non-veg according to your wish. The food list usually is like this:
- Coconut water as a welcome drink just after reaching the stay.
- Breakfast: Luchi (Puri), Torkari (Sabzi), boiled egg, tea
- Lunch: Rice, Dal, Torkari (sabzi), Aloo fry, salad, fish curry, prawn curry
- Evening tea time: Tea and snacks
- Dinner: Rice or roti, dal, torkari, chicken curry, salad.
One can also enjoy their evening bonfire with chicken barbeque which is excluding the package. 1 kilogram of chicken costs around 400 rupees. These camps have some restrictions over drinking. The cost of the mineral water is included in the package of camps but coconut water will cost you extra.

The packages of the camps cost around 1000 INR to 2000 INR according to the accommodation one wants to have.

The camps at Mousuni Island follow some rules very strictly and they also make each guest follow them. These restrictions are usually regarding drinking alcohol, partying, and bathing in the sea.
