Begnas Lake

Pokhara Shanti Stupa
On the top of narrow hill above Phewa Tal is the World Peace Pagoda. It was built by Buddhist monks as a symbol of peace. Among all the popular lake in Pokhara valley, the Phewa Lake is a major tourist hotspot. Its clear waters with surrounding peaks of Mount Machhapuchhere and Annapurna. Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave
On the road from Davi’s fall, a spiral staircase leads to the Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave. The cave is centuries old and form a naturally formed structure resembling the Shiva lingam, making it site of religion and a tourist attraction. It is believed that it has been discovered in the 16th century after few locals stumbled upon it while clearing grass.
There are many stalls and a ticket counter at the entrance gate. Once you enter, the cave is well lit with lights, but carrying a flashlight is recommended. Shiva lingam is 40 meters far from the entrance. If you walk further towards the second part of cave beyond the worship site. The path is little challenging owing to the rock formations and small water water. As the end you finally get to see the mystery of the disappearing waters of Davi’s fall.
Mahendra Cave
This cave was founded by the 2 brothers while herding goats, after which they told all the villagers. They named the cave on the present king who was Mahendra. This cave is known as a limestone krast cave and it was in the Pleistocene era.
Similar to tortoise shell, the cave is really beautiful and explorable. This cave is very unique which is 9 KM approx from lakeside, Pokhara. This cave is surrounded by the botanical garden which makes it more beautiful and amazing to explore.
International Mountain Museum
This museum holds the antique history about mountains and mountaineering, this museum is located in Pokhara Nepal. Every year many of local and international tourists come to visit this museum. There are many documents, international mountain museum records and things related to mountaineering and mountains. The three exhibition halls are : Hall of world mountains, Hall of fame and Hall of great Himalayas.
The museum showcases the culture of a mountaineer, highest peak around the world in detail, descriptions of famous mountaineer and the traditional culture of the Nepalese people.
Ghorepani Hill
Trekking on Himalayas will give another level of thrill and mesmerizing view of mountains . The hill is covered with snow is a beautiful place among the Himalayan range where traveler go for trekking. At 3,210 meters altitude, the sunrise looks beautiful. Pokhara is the nearest access to the city from the Annapurna range.

Barahi Temple
This two story temple is beside the beautiful lake and many tourists by its cultures and it is built in the pagoda- style to the deity of Tal Barahi. Barahi temple is devoted to Ajima in the boar manifestation which is the avatar of the Goddess Shakti. The shakti is one of the Hindu Goddess.
Barahi temple is on a small island beside Fewa lake, the only communication is possible is through boats.
Tibetan Refugee Camp
This camp was established in 1959, its surroundings are full of art and color that you will love to meet local people and to explore.
There you will find few Tibetan shops in which you can buy some Clothes, accessories, art and a lot more.
