Install whatsaap, FB messenger, Skype…. on your phone so that you can talk to your family and friends for free. Nowadays free Wi-Fi is easily available in public places. You can use it for free calling.
18. Other useful apps
While traveling alone you can take advantage of other mobile applications which will make your journey more comfortable. I personally use GPS, language translator, travel guide, and currency converter. These applications are very helpful.
19. Avoid dark alley
Being seen is very important when you travel alone. A public place is safer than a private place or empty roads.
20. Trust your instinct
Stay alert of what is happening at your surroundings and listen to your self gut. If something seems wrong, leave.
