Mukteshwar is a small city in the mountains of the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. The place is situated at a height of 2285 meters from sea level. The city is covered with lush greenery. It is known after the holy Mukteshwar Dham, the temple of Lord Shiva that is located here. The temple is around 350 years old. One can have a view of the gorgeous Himalayan range from here. India’s second-highest peak, Nanda Devi is visible from here. One can experience snowfall at Mukteshwar in winter. One can perform rock climbing, rappelling, trekking, camping, and paragliding at Mukteshwar in their free time. Though try to avoid these adventure sports at monsoon. The second one on our list is Yuksom from North East India. The town Yuksom is located at Geyzing subdivision, West Sikkim district, Sikkim. The first capital of Sikkim was situated at Yuksom and it is quite historic. The serenity of this place is remarkable. There are a few things to see at Yuksom. The Throne of Norbugang, Kathok Pokhri, Dubdi Monastery, Yuksom temple, Kartok monastery, the shrine of Yangthang Rinpoche is the most visited places here. This is also an amazing place to do trekking. Dzongri Trek, Goecha La Trek, Dzongri Goecha La trek, Kanchenzunga Goecha La trek can be done from Yuksom. Dzongri Goecha La trek takes a total time of 8-9 days and it leads you to the base of Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world. And this is the most popular trek in Sikkim.
Ziro town is nestled at the district headquarters of the lower subansiri district of the Indian state, Arunachal Pradesh. This beautiful town has got selected as UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. It is situated at a height of 1500 metres from sea level. Ziro is the home of the Apatani tribe of Arunachal Pradesh. It is surrounded by paddy fields. The place is covered by bamboo and pine forests. The summer at Ziro is quite enjoyable. So, you can enjoy work from the hills in summer here. If you enjoy the Ziro music festival then you have to visit the place in September. This green town is a great place for camping also. You can have a camping experience at the hillock named Ziro Puto there. Some local camping services are available there. Mcleodganj has a huge number of Tibetan people residing there. This place is also referred to as the mini Lhasa by many. It is the home of the 14th Dalai Lama who has established the Tibetan government in exile at Dharamshala, a nearby urban area of Mcleodganj. So, you can find the Buddhist effect at this place also. You can also be a part of the Buddhist occasions celebrated by the residents of Mcleodganj.

Bir is the right choice of work from hills location for the people who love adventure. Located in Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh; Bir is a small village in the Himalayas. Bir village is recognized as the paragliding capital of India. It is located at a height of 1350 meters from sea level. You can enjoy the Travel Bir Billing paragliding. The pilot will help you to take off and land. The gliding may take 20-30 minutes to reach Bir from Billing. The take-off point, Billing is situated at the height of 2430 meters from sea level. This paragliding is believed one of the best in the world. You can be enjoying trekking here also. The popular treks you can start from Bir are Kreli Lake trek, Hanumangarh trek, and Bir- Raj Gundha trek. Some people also enjoy camping here.
Pelling is a small town setting at the foothill of the world’s third-highest mountain peak, Kanchenjunga. It is located in the West Sikkim district, Sikkim, a state of North East India. The village is nestled at a height of 2150 meters from sea level. Pelling is surrounded by the Himalayas and well known for its trekking trails. All the tricks starting from here are quite hard. The summit here is amazing and so you can hit the location of your work from a mountain in summer. Pelling is somewhere you can get lost amid nature. There are some attractions nearby you can visit. These are the local monasteries, Kanchenjunga falls and other waterfalls, Rani Dhunga, Singshore bridge, rock garden, Khecheopalri lake, Rabdentse ruins, Pemayangtse Gompa and Changey waterfalls.
